Your details, and what happens to them.

Max Canine Ltd is responsible for the personal details you send through this website. If you have any question about them, email enquiries@maxcanine.com.

What we collect

Only what you type into a form on this site:

• your name, email address, phone number and the area you live in
• details about your dog, including breed, age, behaviour and, where you choose to share it, health and medication
• for boarding, the dates you need and any care instructions
• for vet referrals, the practice details and the referring vet’s notes

Why we use it

To reply to you, to arrange and deliver training, walks or boarding, and, for behaviour work, to write the reports your vet and insurer need. We rely on the fact that you have asked us to do this, and on our legitimate interest in running the business. We never sell your details or use them for marketing you have not asked for.

Who sees it

• Emily, who reads every message herself.
• Your vet practice, when you have been referred or when a report needs to go back to them.
• Your insurer, only when you ask us to support a claim.
• The companies that run this website and its email, which process the details for us and for no other purpose.

How long we keep it

A copy of each website message is kept for six months, then deleted automatically. If you become a client, your records are kept for as long as we work together and for up to six years afterwards, because insurers and accountants can ask for them. After that they are deleted.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. It uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits, which works without cookies and does not collect personal information.

Your rights

You can ask to see the details we hold about you, to have them corrected or deleted, or for us to stop using them. Email enquiries@maxcanine.com and we will reply within a month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
