Veterinary referrals

Behaviour work your insurance can pay for.

We are Full members of the Canine and Feline Behaviour Association, which most pet insurers recognise for behaviour claims on veterinary referral. The referral itself is one page.

For dog owners

How it works

  1. Check your policy. Confirm with your insurer that behavioural treatment or illness cover is included in your tier of cover.
  2. Speak to your vet. They can rule out any underlying medical issue and complete the referral form below.
  3. Use an approved behaviourist. Look for the CFBA or APBC. We are CFBA accredited.
  4. Gather your documents. We receive the form from your vet, you open a case with your insurer, and you book in with us.
  5. Submit the claim. Upload the referral, invoices and claim form through your insurer’s portal.

Referring a client

Please complete the form below with the owner’s and dog’s details, a brief summary of the behaviour, relevant medical history, areas of caution and any current medication, then sign the declaration.

We write a bespoke report for the insurer, and work with the owner on vet referral for as long as the plan requires.
